What Is Meditation?

Meditation is a way to untangle thoughts and the emotions associated with them. When we are stressed or distracted, we are involved in our reaction to something like an event, a frustration or a task. Meditation teaches us to seperate ourselves from our reaction, observing the situation without adding emotions and getting carried away. This awareness allows us to stay in the present momrnt, understand our thought patterns as they happen and ultimately know ourselves better.

What if I can't stop thinking?

Thinking Is natural in meditation. In fact, the practice is noticing what you ARE thinking and then choosing to redirect your focus (your space instructor will guide you here). Think about it as a bicep curl for the brain. The more you do it, the more your brain grows and strengthens.
